Here's how it all began...
I was a deep feeling kid who longed to be understood.
I grew up in the Midwest as a highly sensitive kid and an empath in a time that no one knew what that was. To my knowledge there were no coaches or healers around to validate my highly intense experience of life or to explain to me what it meant to be an empath.
But I intuitively knew there was more. More going on behind the conversations I was having, more below the surface of the people I hung out with and more beyond the physical world.
So I looked to books.
Books taught me that there absolutely was more.
And I came to understand and love myself in all of my extra sensory gifts.
And every now and then, I would read a passage or see a quote that would knock me over. It would render me feeling so seen and understood that I would cry from disbelief and carefully hand write the sentence on notebook paper and carry it with me in my pocket as a talisman, a reminder that someone out there "gets me".
That is why I created the Soul Coach Empowerment Card Deck.
